They have been equipped with various tools such as cameras, sensors, scanning devices and so on. Some have been programmed to search, rescue and attack where as others are also to enable soldiers safely scout the territories of their enemies before conducting an attack.

They can become our "second Jesus" because they would not mind getting destroyed to save the lives of their creators. This can even decrease the rate at which countries loose their soldiers  in their line of duty.
